Malibu Boats Pro Team Rider and 2008 Tour Champion Phillip Soven, took his first Pro Tour stop of the 2009 season Sunday in Kentucky. In the finals Soven battled it out against rookie Harley Clifford, 2009 points-leader Aaron Rathy and Australian Tour Champ Dean Smith.
According to the WakeWorld.com article, "All four finalists went for broke to win the contest, including Aaron Rathy, who attempted a 1080, but was unable to stick the landing. Rathy's run earned him a third-place finish, with Phillip Soven taking the win and young gun Harley Clifford finishing in second."
