Had a Great Time at the Spring Break Factory Event

We recieved this e-mail from Malibu boat owners Dennis and Gwendy Hayden after they returned from attending the Malibu Boats Spring Break Factory Boat Show in California.

My wife Gwendy and I had a great time! The weather was beautiful and there were lots of friendly faces. We met with Amy [Amy Mauzy, Marketing] who introduced us to to Paul Singer [VP Sales and Marketing] who graciously took us under his wing and introduced us around and made us feel right at home. He was very patient with all of my many questions. Paul from R&D [Paul Gaines, Research & Developement] tolerated all of my technical questions regarding retrofitting my boat for a sub-woofer, even showing me on one of the boats how to remove the panels for access, and then gave us personal tour of the factory which was excellent. It is nice to see how the boats are made and the steps involved in making a quality product especially from someone who really knows the process and can explain it well in layman's terms. Gwendy especially felt even more confident seeing first hand how well our craft is constructed. Paul [Paul Gaines, Research & Developement] is a great asset to your organization. We also met with Jorge [Jorge Martinez, Customer Service] who had assisted us with a previous warranty issue. He had been very helpful in getting the problem resolved and wanted to touch base with us in person to make sure that we were satisfied. We met with our local dealer and obtained some good information for our friends who are seriously considering getting a new Malibu. They are really impressed with our Sunscape 20 LSV, but also like the Wakesetter VLX with the diamond hull. I think their only question now is which boat is right for them. Kelly from Sporting Edge is going to arrange some comparison test rides for them next week to help them decide. Paul Singer extended an open invitation to them to come and visit the factory which they plan to do as time permits.

We not only met Malibu employees but some of their families as well and genuinely felt the family friendly atmosphere there. Cudos to all the staff and management for creating a work environment that is healthy and family oriented.

We had a really nice time and felt very welcome at the Malibu Spring Break California Factory Boat Show. I know that we will be telling our friends about our experience and will, of course, be promoting the benefits of owning a Malibu. Now when we think of Malibu we think of a company that is well above and beyond the competition. We will definitely attend the event next year.

Malibu Boats Spring Break Factory Boat Show Huge Success

The Malibu Boats Spring Break Boat Shows went of without a hitch this past weekend. Both the Tennessee and California Factory Spring Break Events had great weather and great times! Each event inducted some new Malibu Boats family members and gave away some great prizes! The kids had fun too. Malibu offered face painting, bounce houses, coloring contests, hula hoop challenges, boat rides and more. While Moms and Dads took VIP factory tours and struck great deals on Malibu boats, the kids played. Once the deals were done the adults played. They played "Handle Toss" in California for big prizes and "Corn Hole" in Tennessee. Two lucky new Malibu boat owners even took home grand prizes on Sunday. There was fun for everyone at the Malibu Boats Spring Break Factory Boat Shows. Malibu Spring Break was so successful Malibu Boats is announcing it as one of their annual events. If you couldn't make it this year, make sure to attend Malibu Spring Break in 2010!

Malibu Spring Break Factory Boat Auctions This Weekend

Malibu Boats will be hosting silent auctions at the Malibu Spring Break Factory Boat Shows going off in California and Tennessee this weekend. These auctions will consist of a number of items including Malibu boats and other cool gear.

Bidding will open at 10am on Saturday April 25th at each Malibu Boats Factory and end at 3pm the same day. If a winning bidder is not present at the end of the auction, he or she will be notified via e-mail. Winning bidders must pay for gear items entirely before they receive them and they are responsible for pick-up. Winning boat bidders can hold their boat with 5% down. Boater's Insurance Extending Benefits With Club Malibu

Boater’s Insurance Agency is extending the benefit of owning a Malibu boat backed by a BIA policy. Now when a new or existing Malibu boat owner signs-up for a new Boater’s Insurance policy they will not only receive an amazing rate, but a complimentary Club Malibu membership, normally $40, as well. Malibu Boats Australia Teams With Blackdiamond Wakeboard School

Scotty Kell has recently signed a deal for his BLACKDIAMOND Wakeboard School to use Malibu Boats exclusively for the long term. Black Diamond will work closely with Malibu Boats and its Dealer Network to continue laying the foundations for a strong future for Wakeboarding in Australia. Malibu Australia's continued support of grassroots competitions; schools and coaching clinic tours remain high on its agenda as they always have done.

Black Diamond Wakeboarding School has been owned and operated by Scotty Kell since 1996; Scotty is one of the wakeboarding world’s most highly respected rider/coach combinations. Malibu Wakesetter Hits the Slopes in New Jersey

New Jersey Malibu Boats Dealer Lake Hopatcong Marine sponsored Mountain Creek's Annual Snowplow Luau this past weekend. Pond Skimming, pineapple bowling, and spring conditions got everyone on the slopes thinking about summer and days on the lake. It was an awesome time! Young Wakeboarder Says Thanks to Malibu Boats

Just received a very nice e-mail from 7-year-old Mitch Kappler. You may remember we featured Mitch on the blog and in our e-newsletter in February for landing a back-roll behind the Wakesetter VLX at the USA Nationals. His dad filmed the move and we were so impressed, we had to post it.

I just wanted to say thank you for showing my video on the website and the news letter. My dad showed me that you did that and it was cool. I just got back from wakeboard camp in Orlando and had a lot of fun. I even rode the rails at the OWC cable park. Thanks again for showing my video. I really like Malibu boats. There awesome.
