Promises Fulfilled
That’s what the Malibu Boats (@MalibuBoats) Response LXi brings to the lake. See for yourself in this latest video on the record-breaking ski boat from Malibu.
The truth about the LXi is on the water. That’s where you’ll find your next personal best no matter what your skill level. Whether you're searching for World Records or simply looking to make that next slalom turn, the Response LXi delivers.
World Champion slalom skier Will Asher trusts the Response LXi to provide the performance he needs to train for his next milestone in professional slalom skiing. The Cut Diamond hull produces soft, flat wakes that gives pros like Thomas Degasperi as well as slalom faithful like you an edge. This year the Response LXi has also become known for it’s girl power, pulling both Pro Jumper June Fladborg and Pro Slalom Skier Regina Jaquess to World Records.
The Response LXi is not just the boat of World Champions. It is also helping to groom the next wave of record-breakers. Ski schools and Pro skier/instructors like Drew Ross can rely on the Response LXi to grow a student’s skills all the way to the professional level.
All this versatile 3-event performance and the Response LXi won’t leave your family on the dock. Rated for 9 people the LXi accommodates family and all of their stuff. Thoughtful LED lit storage centers line the interior of this boat. The LXi also supports you with the available MaliView dash an optional Zero Off speed control system for precise course runs. Maliview is a graphical way to navigate the boat’s systems, and also allows for video playback, rear view camera connectivity and even iPod® and iPhone® control when paired with the optional Malibu Rockford Fosgate Sound System.
Malibu’s 2011 Response LXi is literally a dream machine, test-drive one today.

Video of June Fladborg Setting Pending World Jump Record
Malibu Boats (@MalibuBoats) Pro Team member, June Fladborg (@JuneFladborg) just set a pending Women's World Jump Record yesterday behind a Malibu Response LXi ski boat. June hurled herself to the pending world record at the 2010 Cray Valley ProAm at Hazelwood Ski school in England. Her jump was 57.4 meters (188.3 feet). This is nearly 3 feet farther than the previous world record set by Elena Milakova (56.6 meters/185.7 feet) at the 2002 Malibu Open.
Way to go June! You are an amazingly dedicated athlete and this record illustrates just how talented you are. You're the World's best!

Team Malibu Jumps to World Cup Win
IWWF described the women's jump finals this way. "In the Women's Finals, Denmark's June Fladborg was first in to the arena. Having already taken both Australia's Moomba Masters and US Masters titles this year, she desperately wanted to finish on a World Cup high. Her opening score of 48.3m immediately set a new Course Record ! World Overall Cable Jump Champion, Iryna Turets BLR, got close with 45.5m. Now it was all down to Marion Mathieu FRA who came second behind Fladborg in the Moomba Masters. With a distance of 48.1m, she was also second to Fladborg again in Putrajaya. This was a perfect World Cup conclusion for June Fladborg."
JUMP WINNERS - Women
1. (DEN) June Fladborg - 48.3m
2. (FRA) Marion Mathieu - 48.1m
3. (BLR) Iryna Turets - 46.5m
You've worked hard for this June! We couldn't be happier for your success this year. Your Malibu Boats Family is extremely proud of you!

Soven Wins China World Cup Stop
Team Malibu Boats (@MalibuBoats) Phillip Soven (@PhillipSoven) beat out Harley Clifford and Rusty Malinoski in Liuzhou City, China over the weekend. Overall World Cup Champion in 2008, Soven was determined to take the Chinese stop and get himself one step closer to an overall victory in 2009. Soven struck first blood in the finals with a whopping score of 75.44 points. Clifford landed a huge 720 off the double-up, but that move was only good enough for second. Soven took the victory and added to his super-human World Cup win total over the past five years.
Team Malibu's Dallas Friday scored second in the Women's Wakeboard competition and Team Malibu's June Fladborg took home a 3rd-place finish in Women's Jump.
Way to go Team Malibu! We're proud of you all! Congratulations on a another win Phillip!

June Saves the Prince
Team Malibu Boats Jumper June Fladborg placed second in the EAME Waterski Championships in Denmark last weekend. Leave it to June to place second and get the most media coverage. You go girl!
Unless you speak Danish I'm sure you have no idea what is going on in this picture. We didn't either, at first...
According to Bo this headline says something like, "June is choking Frederik, Royal Crown Prince of Denmark, at the European Waterski Championships award ceremony."
That is what this looks like, but the weekly was just joshin'. Turns out Prince Frederick tripped on the way up to the Women's Jump podium to congratulate the winners and June saved him. She kept him from falling while at the same managing to keep her jump ski in frame with the "Malibu" logo turned toward the camera. Now there's a dedicated factory team member. She can do it all!
Way to go June! We're proud of you for your performance and the rescue. We also appreciate the laughs you brought us today!
