Pro Slalom Events and Eagle Sports to Host Live Webcast of the Malibu Open (#MalibuOpen). The Malibu Open professional waterski event, including athlete interviews and behind the scene shots, will be webcast live on August 5th and 6th from Veteran’s Park Lagoon in Milwaukee. The Malibu Open hosts the world’s top professional water ski athletes as they compete in traditional slalom and long-distance jumping for $65,000 in prize money. Free-style jumping, barefoot skiing, hydrofoil, show ski and trick flip demonstrations round out the exciting two day event.
Eagle Sports is providing the resources and equipment to host the live webcast which will be available on four industry sites including www.theproskitour.com, www.eaglesports.com, www.ballofspray.com and www.malibuboats.com.
The webcast enables people from around the world to share in the excitement and emotion of a world-class waterski event and the ability to get up close and personal with the athletes from the comfort of their own home. The entire event will not be available, however some of the preliminary rounds on Friday and all of finals on Saturday will be shown as well as behind the scenes shots and athlete interviews.
